Scamalot Advice
If you've received a message claiming to be from a government taskforce or law enforcement agency about catching scammers, remember that genuine authorities won't contact you out of the blue asking for money, personal details, or urgent action. These criminals are simply wearing an official costume to make themselves sound legitimate.
Stop and think before you act. If something feels urgent, threatening, or too good to be true ΓÇö that urgency is the weapon. Scammers use pressure to override your judgement. Nothing is ever so urgent that you can't take five minutes to check, call back on a number you found yourself, or ask someone you trust.
