Is this a legit iCloud email? They addressed me by my full name.
If Apple needs to contact you about storage, they'll do it through your actual account settingsΓÇönot by pestering you with emails claiming an emergency when your records show you've barely used half your allowance. These scammers are counting on you panicking and clicking their link before you think it through.
Stop and think before you act. If something feels urgent, threatening, or too good to be true ΓÇö that urgency is the weapon. Scammers use pressure to override your judgement. Nothing is ever so urgent that you can't take five minutes to check, call back on a number you found yourself, or ask someone you trust.
What's happening
I received two emails in a row stating that my storage is full. The email seems legit, no links have been clicked on. The email addressed me by my full name but I’m confused and definitely leaning towards a scam because I pay for 2TB of data and I’m not even close to filling it…
