The three-day countdown is pure theatre — Netflix won't threaten account deletion via email. If you're genuinely concerned about your account, log in through Netflix's official app or website rather than clicking anything in the email.
Don't click links in unexpected emails, even if the sender looks genuine — logos and addresses are trivially faked. Go directly to the organisation's website by typing the address yourself. Legitimate organisations do not need you to 'verify your account urgently' — that urgency is the weapon, not the message.
What's happening
A dodgy email impersonating Netflix tells you that your payment to the streaming service has failed and says that your account will be permanently deactivated in three business days.
