Scamalot Advice
Once money leaves your bank account via transfer, it's essentially gone ΓÇö the scammers are counting on you not realising this until it's too late. If anyone's pressuring you to move money quickly, whether they claim to be from your bank, the police, or anywhere else, that's your signal to hang up and ring them back on a number you've found yourself.
Stop and think before you act. If something feels urgent, threatening, or too good to be true ΓÇö that urgency is the weapon. Scammers use pressure to override your judgement. Nothing is ever so urgent that you can't take five minutes to check, call back on a number you found yourself, or ask someone you trust.
