Someone who claims to love you but has never met you, and now urgently needs money, is running a script they use on dozens of people simultaneously. The feelings may have felt real — that's precisely the point of the scam. Never send money to someone you haven't met in person, no matter how convincing the story or how long it's been going on.
What's happening
An unsolicited friend request from a "young woman" on Discord. I had no servers in common with the person and their account was less than 10 days old, alarm bells, so I declined and blocked.
