Scamalot Advice
Scammers are impersonating DVLA to harvest your personal details or money. The real DVLA won't contact you out of the blue demanding urgent action — if you genuinely need to sort your licence or vehicle, go directly to gov.uk or ring them on a number you look up yourself, never one provided by an unsolicited message.
Stop and think before you act. If something feels urgent, threatening, or too good to be true — that urgency is the weapon. Scammers use pressure to override your judgement. Nothing is ever so urgent that you can't take five minutes to check, call back on a number you found yourself, or ask someone you trust.
