Fake call centre, pretending to be from Amazon asking for details about a supposed order placed last night.

Amazon will never cold-call you about orders — they'll email instead. If you're concerned, log into your actual Amazon account directly or ring Amazon's official number from their website; don't use any number the caller provided.

Anyone can claim to be from your bank, the police, HMRC, or any authority. Ask for their name and department, hang up, and call back on a number you found independently. Your bank or the police will never ask you to move money to a 'safe account' — that account belongs to the criminal.
