Scamalot Advice
Anyone can claim to be from your bank, the police, HMRC, or any authority. Ask for their name and department, hang up, and call back on a number you found independently. They are just trying to get your personal details and set you up for further scams. If it sounds to good to be true it is, just hang up, and if you want, contact the company on a publically available number or report to Action Fraud.
What's happening
An email impersonating National Rail tells you that you're in with a chance of getting a pair of earbuds for being a 'valued National Rail passenger.'
